Founding Principles

Mobile devices are being built with ever increasing amounts of storage. Tens of gigabytes are not uncommon now on mobile phones, games consoles and MP3 or MP4 players.

But how on earth are we going to get all this data on and off these powerful new devices?

History tells us that we will try and throw more network capacity at the problem. Bigger, faster mobile networks will serve the needs of bigger, faster devices. So goes the theory.

The founders of Omniplug Technologies have seen that approach before, seen it deliver the user benefits but not the profits. So we came up with a new way - using existing capacity and existing behaviour - to deliver all this new content.
