Mailbox Operation

 

The Memory Mailbox is a low cost plug computer designed to use 95% less power than a PC.

It has an SD card reader and a USB host plus wifi and Ethernet built around a simple processor.

This means you can use the Mailbox with most cameras and a wide range of cameraphones and smartphones.

It runs regularly updated software that automatically identifies the card or device & uploads data found on it.

Memory Mailbox connects to the internet using wifi and to the memory card either directly or using USB


You claim a device and set it up once. After that, every time you connect it, it's data will be automatically be sent to your private account, backed up and ready to use

The data is uploaded to the account that you set on a simple website - where you manage all your devices.

Each SD card or device is allocated to an owner, who may have multiple cards or devices, each with its own profile.

This means that two or more people can share a single Memory Mailbox while keeping their own data private.

It also means that you can automatically backup the photos from your phone separately from the photos on your camera.
